Prof Dr P N Tekwani of Electrical Engineering was invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Israel to attend the Discover Israel Programme for Young Leaders in Higher Education, Innovation and Start-Up Ecosystem. This was to understand the ecosystem in higher education at Israel and also to develop further linkages with Universities of Israel.
Dr Priyanka Sharma, Professor CSE (Computer Science & Engineering) Department received recognition as a Deep Learning Ambassador by the NVIDIA, an American Company known to be world leaders in GPU Computations and Deep Learning. Dr Sharma was also invited by the Principal Secretary-State Project Directorate, RUSA-Maharashtra to participate and contribute to the design and implementation of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning based curriculum for various professional colleges of Maharashtra State.
